Event Details
The daughter of one of Australia’s most famous rock vocalists, Jimmy Barnes, Mahalia Barnes started her career as a child star vocalist for her sibling band The Tin Lids. Growing up in the rough and tumble of the rock music industry, Mahalia has experienced it all. She’s recorded on her father’s albums since the age of eight, and recording three Tin Lids records between 1991 and 1994, all of which sold platinum. Since then, Mahalia has worked as a lead singer for her own band, and as a backing singer for soul and RnB artists like Johnny Diesel and her father.
