Event Details

An eclectic concert of chamber works including pieces by Vaughan Williams and W.A. Mozart, Vivaldis' Winter from the Four Seasons, and jazz arrangements for orchestra and piano (featuring John Keller, piano). Join Staton, Wong and the ECO as they weave together a majestic fabric, seamlessly cross-stitching together an array of genres: classical, baroque, modern and jazz. Swoon to the sweet string sounds, and discover the common thread: That each piece is interlaced with colour and passion, as performer, composer and audience are woven together into a harmonious, beautiful, and strong fabric.

Performers: Kym Staton, the Endeavour Chamber Orchestra, Dr. Lewis Wong (Julliard, USA), John Keller

Featured non-Australian music: Tapestries by Dr. Robert Frank (world premiere)
