The Tasmanian Leather Orchestra is playing this Saturday in the Junction Arts Festival. We're on from 5:30-6:30 in the big tent in Launceston's Civic Square, also known as 'The Junc Room'.
The concert will feature the Chordwainers, small groups playing Mountain Harp, Pocopods, Herald Masks and Flower Bassoon, and will culminate with a 30-piece leather orchestra.
If you heard us at Holy Trinity 2 years ago, you'll have an idea of what's in store, but it should be even better, with 2 years of careful aging. If you weren't there, here's your chance to see Garry Greenwood's dream of a full leather orchestra come to life.
