This is Acacia Quartet's final concert series for 2014. In true Acacian style, Acacia will share Gershwin's little known gem 'Lullaby', which sat on his bookshelf unplayed for over twenty years, followed by the hypnotic String Quartet No 2 by Philip Glass (used in the stage version of Samuel Beckett's soliloquy called 'Company'), plus groovy dance beats from Australia's APRA Award Winning composer Joe Twist, in his 'Dancing for Somebody' and finish the evening with Viennese charm and finesse with Fritz Kreisler's elegant String Quartet. Special ticket price: $90 family (2 adults & 2 children). Please refer to general ticket prices for more information. *Ticket price includes a post concert reception.
Featured non-Australian music: Philip Glass - String Quartet No.2; Fritz Kreisler - String Quartet in A minor
