Event Details

The Hopkins Sinfonia presents our tribute to the ANZAC's. A world premiere performance of Calls of War by Melbourne's Warren Lenthall composed for the occasion and featuring mezzo-soprano Shakira Tsindos. Violist Tom Higham joins us to perform Herbert Howells' Elegy. We finish our tribute with a fitting work by Australia's Nigel Westlake, The Glass Soldier suite for orchestra. Conducted by Music Director Louis Sharpé, we would like to invite you to join us in our 2015 season opener and our tribute to the ANZACs
