Event Details
The Pratt Price Collective brings together four distinct musical personalities for a rich sonority in a Latin groove style. Daryl Pratt, vibraphonist and composer, has performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Australian Art Orchestra, Chad Wackerman of Frank Zappa fame and with his own group, Sonic Fiction. Mike Price, guitarist and composer, and Jess Ciampa, percussionist, each have over thirty years of playing experience. They are joined by award-winning bassist Brendan Clarke, highly acclaimed for his sense of swing and melodicism.

With special support by TA GO LAK: Enter an exotic world of percussion as three Sydney-based drummers respond to Korean folk and shamanic traditions. This improvisational performance layers textures of ancient rhythms from the Asia Pacific, also featuring haegeum, the traditional two-stringed Korean fiddle. Ta Go Lak’s recent performances include concerts at Tasmania’s famous MONA.
