2010 marks Tim’s 30th year as a professional musician, and since moving to Sydney from Adelaide in 1985 he has performed with many of Australia’s finest musicians including Dale Barlow, Bernie McGann and James Morrison.
Career highlights include support gigs for Joe Henderson, Johnny Griffin and Freddie Hubbard, being a finalist in the first Wangarratta jazz award in 1990, and musical director for Delilah.
Recently, Tim has been preparing for an upcoming solo piano CD, and this will be the Quartet’s first performance since 2008. The repertoire will feature material from their well received 2007 CD as well as a number of new pieces.
