Tim Clarkson has gained a reputation as a dynamic composer-bandleader with a unique sound and approach to composition and group dynamics. He has performed internationally with a diverse array of world-class artists, including George Benson, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, blues legend Russell Jackson, and has played the New York jazz circuit. His debut trio recording Crab, featuring Alex Boneham and Cameron Reid, received wide acclaim, and Land of Free Men is the brilliant follow-up. The Tim Clarkson trio is a unique blend and balanced counterpoint between bass, drums and saxophone, intriguing compositions and rippling rhythmic flow embodies this trio.
