Duo Agostino are performing for Wyvern Music Club-Forestville at Forestville Uniting Church, Darley St, Forestville, on Sunday 2nd May at 4 pm. Duo Agostino, which is made up of classical guitarists Raffaele and Janet Agostino, will perform a zesty program of music spanning several centuries and countries, including France, Italy and Australia. Well-known Australian guitarist/composer, Richard Charlton’s Two Guitars Dine Out and 6 Quarks, a work he wrote specially for the group, will be featured. Hear a clever arrangement by Afro-Cuban guitarist/composer Leo Brouwer of the Beatles’ Penny Lane and She’s Leaving Home!
