John Peterson: Anniversary Music - a work composed specially for this happy occasion.
William Walton: Henry V -- a musical scenario after Shakespeare
Shakespearean narrator: John Golder
Johannes Brahms: Concerto for violin and cello in A minor, op. 102
Soloists: Kirsty Hilton (violin) and Timothy Nankervis (cello)
Following this concert there will be a reception (8.30 to 10.15pm) in the foyer of the Clancy Auditorium for past and present players in the Orchestra and their friends. Finger food and refreshments will be offered. Tickets for this reception can be requested on the same form as used for booking concert tickets.
