An anniversary concert with trombonist Gregory van der Struik, organist Pastor de Lasala and soprano Sylvie Renaud-Calmel to help celebrate the 80th anniversary of a very rare American pipe organ built in 1929 by JP Möller.
The programme will include a large variety of works - French, German, Brazilian, American and Australian - with two world premiere performances: Book 8 of the ‘Pequenos Prelúdios Folclóricos’ (Short Folkloric Preludes) by the Brazilian composer Calimerio Soares, and a new work by Gregory van der Struik, Molleresque, specially composed to celebrate the organ’s 80th anniversary.
