Event Details
Theatre legend Michael Gow and international early music guru Alan Curtis join forces to create a new chamber opera for a stellar cast of Australian singers and instrumentalists. Baroque music is set to 21st-century words to tell of Astolfo's journey to the Moon, negotiating supernatural beings and a love triangle, in the hope of restoring his friend's sanity.
Australian composer Calvin Bowman has been involved in the preparation of the score for this work.
