Event Details

Talya Valenti is a drummer known for performing in Perth bands and groups across a variety of genres. This year she returned to WAAPA to study honours in jazz, where she has had the opportunity to learn from various lecturers, as well as Sydney’s Simon Barker and also played alongside both Megan Washington and Kneebody. Her recital will be a culmination of her work this year, with an undercurrent representative of her diverse taste in music.

Talya will be joined by:

Alana Macpherson - Alto saxophone
Chris Musitano - Trumpet
Tim Voutas - Piano
Matt Gudgeon - Guitar
Zac Grafton - Bass

*Tickets can be purchased in the following way:

$5 at the bar (standing) per recital – Book Bar – This Recital Only
$10 at the table (seated) per recital – Book Table – This Recital Only

Tickets for the entire night will also be available:

$20 at the bar (standing) for the entire night  – Book Bar – Entire Night
$25 at the table (seated) for the entire night – Book Table – Entire Night

If a show is not sold out, then patrons are welcome to stay for the following recital without purchasing another bar ticket, however the tables will always turn over after each recital (unless you have purchased a ticket for the entire night, then you can retain the same table all night).
