Event Details
Yakumo Honjin is a music and video installation and new music performance for video, miniature percussion, violin and harp, and is a long-standing cross-cultural collaboration between Japanese musicians and Australian cross-artform organization Aphids. It fuses and explores architecture, projection and miniature instrument design. The exhibition and performance explores the concept of ‘oku’ – or hidden – a theory which informs traditional architecture, garden design and music.
