May Lyon is the 2016 Zelman Symphony / University of Melbourne Emerging Composer, and is a Master's degree student of Dr Katy Abbott Kvasnica at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. May's work has the theme of "The Three Norns" (female goddesses) from Norse mythology, otherwise known as The Three Fates, and will feature guest violinist and violist, Kat Tsyrlin. Also featuring: Grieg - Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 Grieg - Piano Concerto in A minor with Stefan Cassomenos Sibelius - Symphony No. 2
