Sheet Music: Score
At the start of day / music by Sally Greenaway.
by Sally Greenaway (2010)
A contemporary jazz big band piece with a Piazolla-esque atmosphere. Features the lead trombone and alto saxophone in the opening A sections, which explode into an uplifting and passionate B section. The middle of the piece features a piano solo (fully written in the score but could equally be improvised to good effect).
Published by: Australian Music Centre — 1 facsimile score (14p. -- B4 (landscape))
Difficulty: Advanced — Trombone and saxophone sections have the trickiest parts
