Summary: Jon Rose was the Australia Council New Media Artist in residence with the Listening Room for 2001. The program presents the cultural underbelly of Australian music: the radical, the uncompromised and the unheard by some of the most iconoclastic, larrikin and backyard performers in the country today. A concert broadcast with Mic Conway's National Junk Band, David Gulpilil, Ross Bolleter, WACO (the legendary chainsaw orchestra from the West), Ron West, the Patten family, Michael Greene and others.
