Product details
All the music in this volume should be fun to play & is not too difficult in terms of technique and attitude. The standard is approximately grade 3 to grade 5.
As in previous volumes, there are some exercises to overcome potential difficulties, rhythms of two against three, and three against four, fingerings of thirds and sixths, with each piece prefaced by brief explanatory notes to develop the technical skills and right mental approaches.
There are many dances here in different styles, from folk to tango to jazz plus there are three duets. Much emphasis is placed on touch detail and pedal; and the resonances of the piano are particularly explored in many of the pieces.
