This radio feature is a portrait of the legendary writer Bruce Chatwin who died in 1989. The many different aspects of the his elusive being are explored by his biographier Susanne Clapp and writer Robert Dessaix. The centrepiece is a rare conversation with Chatwin's wife, Elizabeth. Includes readings by Patrick Dickson, music by Kevin Volans, and archival reading by Chatwin from 'In Patagonia'.
