Sheet Music: Score & Part(s)Fugue : for B flat clarinet and piano / Tony Wheelerby Tony Wheeler (2007)
|
Product details
Most of the well-known clarinet repertoire dates from the 18th century or later, and examples of Baroque writing for the instrument are few. This piece is written in conscious imitation of the Baroque style, paying particular homage to the work and creative spirit of J.S. Bach. The fugue follows a formal schema of exposition, development and recapitulation, and its tessitura exploits the full range of the clarinet.
