Product details
This work was written as part of a composer-in-residence program at All Saint's Anglican College, Perth. The text, written by the composer, explores the beauty of the outdoors: the West Coast ocean breezes, the clear skies at night, and how these things of beauty meant so much more to the early ocean-going explorers of the West Australian Coast. The melody is strophic and simple, almost folksong-like, with a faster contrasting middle section. The Mixed-voice version would suit a high school or tertiary-level ensemble.
