Sheet Music: ScoreJoadja Lake : a work for solo mandolin / Ann Carr-Boyd.by Ann Carr-Boyd (1998)

Product details
Joadja Lake was composed at the request of Adrian Hooper, Director of the Sydney Mandolins. It is named after a very beautiful lake on the property of one of my students in the Southern Highlands of NSW, where the multitude of bird life swoops, swims and glides in the ceremony of each passing day.
This piece, with its repetitive, yet varied themes, attempts to follow their daily paths in a muscial pattern of movement (although how could I be musically as graceful as these birds?)
Joadja is my eleventh composition for the Sydney Mandolins, although the first for solo mandolin.
