Broadbent chose a Sunday, a day of rest and recreation, to explore the city using a microphone to capture its sounds, seeking to reveal its soul. Water, birds, dervishes, street musicians, pimps, protestors and lyric poets and philosophers all make their appearance. The program also includes an interview with Broadbent.
