Summary: 'Jumbo in the pine grove': Number 11 of '24 views of an inkstain on the tatami', a guided audio tour of Japan in which the familiar and the strange are twisted by an irritable postcard writer, a passionless guidebook and a 'voice in the head'. Startled by the noise of a 747 grinding through a forest glade, the postcard writer realises he has been asleep at the end of a runway that will never be quite long enough. Written and performed by Tony Barrell.
