In London at the beginning of World War II, Sigmund Freud sits and dreams, listening to the music of his compatriot Schubert. The composer borrows vocal lines and accompanimental figures from Schubert. Near death, Freud analyses his dreams. Libretto: Margaret Moran. Features Gerald English as Sigmund Freud. Based on the Adelaide Festival 2000 production by Music Theatre Sydney, directed by George Whaley.
