'Opera balcanica': a new dream for modern times. Conflict and intrigue in the Balkans is a hallmark of the modernist age but harmonies between diverse peoples of the region can still be heard in its now fragile heritage of vernacular music. The artist was brought to Australia by the Creative Radio Consortium, run by ABC Radio Arts/University of Technology, to produce this work for The Listening Room, which is an acoustic bridge between cultures. Includes interview with Jovanovic.
'Resava Cave': Program which won the RAI Prize of Prix Italia for Music in 1977. A group of performers vocalise and play in a remote rural cave in Serbia.
