Product details

Bacchanals were the legendary rites of riotous and drunken revelry attributed to the Greco-Roman god of wine, Bacchus. His spirit is invoked in this suite for symphonic wind band through its sense of abandon and unremitting dance-like energy. Traditional Baroque and Classical suite movements have been adopted as templates upon which my less traditional musical ideas could be developed. This dance suite is a hybrid of old and new elements.
