Instrumentation: Children's choir (SSA), narrator, 2 violins, viola, cello, percussion (bass drum, suspended cymbals, glass wind chimes, marktree, tam-tam, tom-toms, timpani, tambourine, clapsticks, seedpods, quijada, tubular bells, crotales), didjeridu.

Duration: 30 min.

Difficulty: Medium

Commission note: Commissioned by Sydney Children's Choir with funds provided by Australia Council.

The composer collaborated with writer Amy McGrath to write the text.

Work revised 2001.
