Work Overview
Pianotrio No.2 is more or less a transcription of my piece If, for soprano, violin, cello and orchestra. What this comes down to is that the violin and cello have basically maintained their parts from the original score and the piano has mainly filled in for the orchestra. It has therefore resulted in quite an orchestral approach to a pianotrio.
It provides great opportunities for all three instruments to excel in their performance abilities.
