Instrumentation: Piccolo, flute, 2 oboes (2nd doubling cor anglais), clarinet in B flat, bass clarinet, bassoon, contra-bassoon, 4 horns in F, 2 trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (5 players), bass drum, harp, piano/celeste, solo amplified cello, strings.
