Work Overview
This piece includes a small, mutated quotation of Waltzing Matilda. The Young Piano Trio requested me to write this work for them, due to the paucity of Piano Trio encores. They premiered it at their farewell concert, Melba Hall, prior to their "showcase" tour, on behalf of The University of Melbourne, of Asia and Sydney, in April 2002.
