Work Overview
This work is a compressed arrangement of the composer's 45 minute 'lullaby' for the same ensemble. It is a 'white-note' piece; harmonically static and meditative in nature, yet quietly emotional with its tonal centre often gravitating to B. The addition of a text by Chrissie Parrott, spelled out in a whisper by an actor or vocalist increases the sense of intimacy already latent in the music.
