Representing the intense and sometimes unrelenting heat of the Australian summer, Sunburnt Aftertones was composed for the Zurich Ensemble of New Music at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) Composer's Seminar in October 2001.
Instrumentation: Flute, clarinet in B flat, percussion, piano, violin, cello.
Duration: 6 min.
Difficulty: Advanced — undergraduate level +
