Work Overview
This duet was written to commemorate the centenary of Australia's best loved folk song: a combination of "Banjo" Paterson's descriptive lyrics and Marie Cowan's immortal melody. The piece offers a display of virtuosic pedal playing ranging from full chords to rapid semiquavers, trills and glissandi.
