Thrausmata is seven different renderings of six fragments of ancient Greek texts chosen by the composer for their enduring subjects of love, hospitality, war, sport, sexuality, philosophy and atomic theory.
Thrausmata represented Australia for the International Society of Contemporary Music in Bucharest in 1999 where it was highly commended.
