Work Overview

This piece was written to be performed at seven selected places during a two kilometer walk in the countryside near Kalv, a small town in Sweden, southwest of Gothenberg. The seven short pieces for solo instrument were entitled Slowness, Sand, Silence, Simplicity, Sharing, Spirituality,

The aim was to get away from the noise and bustle of the cities to a place of quietness where we can listen to the sounds around us. The title "Simplicity" explains the piece. People from the surrounding area were invited to the Festival and music for this was written by composers from different countries.
