Work Overview
This work is in one movement with changes of tempo and styles throughout. It was written with cellist Colin Fox in mind. Colin was a first class cellist with whom I had the privilege of playing piano with in a piano trio that also included violinist, Elaine Fox. Colin had been principal cellist with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra. Elaine was a violinist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Playing with them inspired me to write this work.
