Work Overview

Universal Truth Remains is a contemporary art song for those born under the Aquarius Star sign. This rousing song is the eleventh song in Brandman's Cosmic Wheel of the Zodiac Song Cycle consisting of twelve songs, one for each sign of the Zodiac. The lyrics are by astrologer and poet Benita Rainer. The premiere performance was in Sydney with Baritone Martin Cooke and the composer at the piano. It was also performed in Prague and has been recorded for the Cosmic Wheel of the Zodiac album by the Prague Mixed Choir and soloists.
