Work Overview
This piece has been built up in various parts, beginning with the written text which was written as an experiment in automatic writing and then slightly edited. The sounds, including the pre-recoreded accordion sounds, were added in the studio in response to the words. I have tried to preserve a strong sense of random connection points between sound and word.

Improvised studio recording: electro-acoustic exploration of text and sound.
This work is part of continuing research into improvisation and its compositional possibilities across multiple forms and genres. In this piece I have set some parameters such as allowing the words to freely associate around a sense of the ridiculous. The sounds are constructed to resonate with that mood.
