From 'The Carnival, a circus opera Act 1, Scene 1 | By the Seaside

On a home video we see Lucy with a man and a red-haired child playing by the seashore. The image is one of warmth and happiness. To the side of the stage, we see the silhouette of a mother and daughter dancing a pas de deux. Lucy sings of her love for the child.
