Work Overview
Imagine a largely silent airship, lighter than air, powered by mysterious means and capable of cruising at 15,000 metres or more. The remarkable 'zeppelin machine' travels the length of the African continent. From the control car, the wind in the flight control cables is audible. At times, sounds drift up from the land below, sometimes radio transmissions between earth and the thermosphere become audible.
