This piece is an exploration of spectralism, defined as the predominant use of timbre for material and structure. The question is - can spectralism inform an approach to improvisation?
Instrumentation: Alto flute, clarinet in A, French horn, violin, cello, piano, percussion (1 player: snare drum and vibraphone).

Difficulty: Advanced — Professional standard, includes improvisation.
