Work Overview

Church at Domburg is the 3rd of 8 movements that comprise Mondrian Interiors for solo harp with mixed ensemble. This solo movement is based on a black and white charcoal sketch created by Dutch artist Piet Mondrian in 1914. The full work is dedicated to Marshall McGuire and Southern Cross Soloists, who commissioned the work with assistance from the Music Board of the Australia Council for the Arts.
