Instrumentation: 3 flutes (2nd doubling alto flute in G and 2nd piccolo, 3rd doubling 1st piccolo), 2 oboes, cor anglais in F, 2 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet in B flat, 3 bassoons (3rd doubling contra-bassoon), 5 horns in F, 3 Trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, percussion (3 players), harp, strings (min. 12.10.8.7.5).
