Oolloowah : trio for violin, cello & piano / William Holland.
Library shelf no. 785.2813/HOL 7 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
Oolloowah is a hanging valley on Narrow Neck in The Blue
Mountains, I knicknamed it when I camped there with my
schoolfriends many years ago. The valley is at the downstream end
of Chinamans Creek.
A plunge pool under the waterfall is a reliable source of
drinking water from the large swamp above the waterfall. With an
extensive cliff overhang and attractive plunge pool, and a carpet
of ferns and a dense bush cover the valley is sure to have been
widely used by indigeonus people who roamed around the area
thousands of years ago.
