Work Overview
Chinook Winds (Snow-Eater) is from a series of works called 'The Troposphere' (composed in Banff, Canada during a Winter Music Residency in 2006), inspired by the freezing temperatures of a winter in the Rocky Mountains. Chinook Winds are warm winds which travel downward through the Rocky Mountains, melting snow, temporarily & sometimes significantly elevating winter temperatures.
