Work Overview
'The Edwin Armstrong overture': a radiophonic composition which immortalises Edwin Armstrong, who gave the world the clarity and depth of FM radio. Worn down by financial difficultues and an ugly patent war, Armstrong neatly folded his coat, hat and gloves and stepped out from the thirteenth floor of his apartment building. An overture to an opera which is yet to be written.

Instrumentation: Short wave radio, grand piano and treated piano samples.
