Work Overview
Earthshine (for cello and digital delay or large
cathedral) is an atmospheric evocation of the awe that creation
inspires those who ponder her diversity...
Nature also provides analogues of spiritual life and
discoveries.. The pale light of the earth's reflection of the
sun's outpourings seen on the lunar surface is one of the many
smallish facts of astronomy which sparks human imagination. The
music and sounds in this work are combined with silences and
digital delay to create an ethereal space acoustically and
spiritually.
