Work Overview
Manouche Waltz draws on the performance tradition of the Parisian Bal musette of the early 20th Century. At these public dance halls, musicians developed a musical style combining regional French dance forms, Italian accordion music and gypsy (Fr. Manouche) guitar and violin playing.
