As a composer, you are fortunate to sometimes work with people with many other talents. One such is Dawn Langman who has devoted her life to drama and speech. She asked me to write incidental music to her dramatic tribute to the poems of Judith Wright and I enjoyed working with this creative team. I wrote for cello, clarinet and marimba of which Stellar Wind is taken. It uses the tremolo technique I developed in Song Web in 1993 and develops its haunting quality to enhance the Wright poetry.
